Summer 2011 Photo Library

A compilation of my summer in Taiwan.

Hi - Life, 7 Eleven, Family Mart, Ok Mart. Just one of the many convenience located literally on each block. Super convenient and probably ate half my wallet. Had snacks and drinks, perfect for a quick bite.

My favorite passion fruit drink. Never knew I had such an obsession with passion fruit. Never actually tried the fruit by itself. A little scary looking for me. But at any drink store, I would always order passion fruit with tapioca.

One of the many breath-taking views in Taiwan. Was lucky enough to wake up to this view for the first few days of camp. It never gets old.

Tofu. A lot of people think its gross, but I LOVE it. There are so many ways to eat it ! Here, it's fried.

 More tofu.

Ah, shaved ice. If I could, I would open a shaved ice store since it's basically water with just a pinch of toppings on top. Easy profit! But it's still delish and comes with an endless amount of possibilities !

 Poor piggy.

Enough pictures, let's get on with the outfit! I got all these things from Taiwan. Everything was incredibly cheap. I would probably get my money's worth through just one or two wears

Wore a blue lace tank on top of a nude cami. Tucked into a pair of green high-waisted shorts with a black bow belt.

Big hobo bag and cream loafers

That's it. Next post will include an outfit and more food (=

Don't Pack Up Summer Just Yet !

With Autumn approaching, many naturally pack up their summer dresses, short shorts, flowy tanks and floral skirts. However, that's not necessary! With just four basic items, you can transition your favorite summer outfit into the fall season.

Here is one of my favorite summer outfits. It includes a sheer white tank and the oh so trendy high waisted shorts.

Afterwards, with just four items, I was able to come up with this outfit. A warm fall appropriate outfit.
I only used - a cardigan, a scarf, tights & ankle boots.

These are probably my basic fall wardrobe staples. But as you can see, it's just so simple to transition your summer outfit!

Taiwan Foodie Adventures - Ding Tai Fung & Cold stone Creamery

Long time no see. It's been ages since I've posted here, but I did want to pop in and say hello and sort of give you guys a glimpse on what's been going on. As you probably know from my videos, I went to Taiwan this summer and had an amazing time. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Decided to share with you guys a few photos on my summer over a few posts.

On one of the wonderful days in Taiwan, I went to Ding Tai Fung at one of the Sogo malls in Taipei. This is a very well-known restaurant and they were even going to open one in the states.

They are known for their soup dumplings which I obviously had to try.

Also had some fried rice, of course. I also had some sweet and sour soup (not shown).

Afterwards, I went to the Cold Stone Creamery to try out their ice cream which was delish!
