Mom Jeans with Sushi

What are mom jeans? According to urban dictionary, it is "Often seen on the 40+ crowd, mom jeans are too high, too tight, tapered leg jeans which manage to showcase any bodily flaw the wearer has. Possible outcomes: The butt will be compressed so it doesn't stick out, it will instead be pushed to the sides, making it look far wider than it actually is. The genital triangle will be emphasized and outlined. The hips will look wider because of the butt compression and the tapering of the legs."

They're honestly not that bad when worn as shorts and I see a lot of hipsters wearing these. They are literally my mothers shorts and i just rolled them up a bit. I actually really like them ... idk what that makes me :D

I just paired it with my striped H&M shirt and tucked it into the jeans. I threw on a blazer also from H&M and paired it with my brown shoulder bag from Aldo. Oh, and I paired it off with tights because it is still chilly out and brown oxfords.

For accessories I topped it off with my new leaf ring from Urban Outfitters and my usual pearl bracelet (=

I wore this out to eat at a sushi buffet which was super delish. It was around 25 bucks per person but they gave you a lot of food and were not stingy about it at all!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Soho Park

Soho Park
62 Prince St
(between Lafayette St & Crosby St)
New York, NY 10012
Spent the afternoon at Soho. We were starving so we stopped by Soho Park to grab a bite to eat.

 ----------------------------------------------------------------
Atmosphere - Soho Park was cafeteria style which is basically stand in line, order, pay and someone will deliver the food to your table. You get these really cute license plates for your ticket number and the waiters were quite friendly when serving us. We went during the lunch hour and it was really packed. Took us a while to find a seat and we finally just opted for one of the few outdoor seats. The weather was very nice so it was perfect.

Food & Price - As for the food, the portions look really small to me at first, but I was induced into a deep food coma after I was finished. The price was between 10 - 15 bucks which is good for a quick bite in the city. In my opinion, the iced coffee was expensive since they gave it in a small cup and didn't taste all that great either. No matter how much sugar or milk i added, it was still incredibly bitter. :'( Also, they slyly added money to my order. The register asked if I wanted cheese in my burger and I thought that it would be at no charge since she asked so casually. So I said sure. Little did I know she added a few extra dollars to the receipt.

Left to Right - Park Cheese with Fries with nasty coffee on the side, and Park Cheese with Fries again (= and Buffalo Wings

The burger was nice. Definitely not one of the best I've ever had but it was very nice. Julie really liked her buffalo wings and they look deslish but I'm just a sucker for buffalo wings. The fries were really nice. Different from others.

Verdict - All in all, this was a nice place to grab a quick bite. One might like how crowded it was or not. The outdoor seating was nice, though you might be sitting next to a smoker, which is understandable since you are outside. I would pass on the coffee but the burger and fries are def something I would order again.

H&M Orange Dress Review

Here is a review on the H&M dress featured in my last video. You can click on the pictures for a better view. But basically, it's a nice orange-y color that's made out of a very nice quality chiffon.

The neckline is high so you can stay nice and classy. There is some cinching at the bottom which is followed by some ruffles which gives for a very feminine touch to the dress.

What I Love About this Dress
Color - The shade of orange is perfect for both spring and fall.
High Neckline & Dress Length - Perfect balance between the two. The neckline makes up for the length of the dress which keeps you looking very classy.
Perfect for Different Body Types - This is really good for those who don't want to flash their boobs, are a little concerned with their stomach, love handles and mid-body area. The dress is nice and flowy so it covers up any concerns you might have.
Perfect for those who want to show off their - Arms and legs.

Overall I really recommend this dress for just about everybody. It's around 30 bucks and the quality is very nice. It's hard to come by a dress that can take you to two seasons ! Check out your local H&M
